I like "Ice Cream" and, to a lesser extent, "The Bomb" quite a bit.

I don't know I was really excited about it after hearing "Ice Cream", "The Bomb", and "The Get Go" but after a few listens the rest of the cd seems mediocre although it is funny that they have a song called "Jerk Me". I'm still trying to listen to it. Maybe I'll warm up to it a little later.

Jerk Me's actually one of the better album tracks. Would be great to start a mix cd with for that special someone.

Very much looking forward to this.
Saw them play a great set at the Sydney V Festival a couple of months ago. A few bland songs, but a solid 75% dancey excellence.

I like 'Hiding On The Staircase', reminds me of that dream I had where Voice Of The Beehive covered 'Galang' on Later With Jools.

Heard about these folks when Andy Rourke played them during his DJ set recently.
Playing the album now and jeez, I don't know. I think my new favourite song is somewhere up in this bitch cause this is some good shit. Check how Gang of Four-ish the guitar sound/bass/eeeerieness of "F.A.N." is. Not too poseur-y, just right.

I like d 'Ice Cream', but they were atrocious live when I caught them last year.
― Chewshabadoo, Friday, 3 July 2009 08:28 (sixteen years ago)
they've really died off, what are they up to lately?
ps. andy rourke is not nec the best go-to guy when it comes to contemporary musical gems

Oh hey, they've got a cover of PJ Harvey's "Dress" up on their Myspace page.

their drummer is touring in/with Bat for Lashes, so that may be why they haven't done anything in a while

I quite liked Ice Cream as well but I thought the album was a bit crap
― Colonel Poo, Friday, 3 July 2009 14:46 (sixteen years ago)
the whole icey spoken vocals seems a bit dated right now, not quite as bad as miss kittin, mind. will be interesting to see what they come up with next
