I had never heard this until two days ago. Was listening on headphones. I can tell you it flipped me out nearly as much as the Daffy Duck moment on The Drift.

some trembling blue stars song. i think it's on 'broken by whispers', and i think beth arzy provides them. love bobby, love arzy, but this song creeped me out the first time i heard it (late at night, in the dark, in headphones, but wide awake).

I always found Pulp's "I Spy" to be creepy, or at the very least unsettling.

OMG, the song I'm currently listening to on repeat, humming to myself during quiet purposes, and generally adoring, namely 'Kreibabe' by Foetus, finishes with Thirlwell whispering "Hush little baby.........don't you cry...", after an excoriating, noisy, 12-minute baring of the soul. It is quite, quite show-stopping (which is presumably why it finishes the album).
