I'm pretty sure this album will dominate blogs soon. I've only listened to it two times, but I feel confident saying it's better than most other efforts by bands of the same ilk (e.g. the French Kicks, the Walkmen). "The Plot" is a brilliant single.
Everything's pretty cohesive. Most songs feature really great swooping choruses with lots of effective buildup. The vocals are great, but I can see them being a turnoff for others. It's hard to deny the drumming, though. And I'm a sucker for keyboards in rock.

This album's grown on me even more since first listen...in my top 10 of the year, for sure.

It was surreal watching that last night. Greg looked like a nervous wreck at the end!

I am totally digging the new album! At first I was annoyed at how similar the singer's voice sounds to the lead singer of the Walkmen, but I got over it.
Great percussion, great recording quality.

New album "Milk Famous" is pretty fun to listen to. Surprised not to see it discussed at least a little more here, if only so someone from England can say, "More like Shite Rabbits" at some point. Not that they'd be right, but it'd be a fun moment...
