retro 80's anybody ???
gotta admit a hell of a lot of good songs were written by some pretty shocking looking bands of the nu romantic variety...
...with that in mind could people recommend me some synthpop worth checking
stuff like this kiwi band...

my favorite of the year, better than the new Joy Electric

... and I still think Romania's Remodel album is the jewel of the revival
... along with My Favorite who are unfortunately now defunct. Search "The Suburbs Are Killing Us" & "Burning Hearts" & "Working Class Jacket" and so many more ...

so far the Blush Response are the only ones that don't sound like generic '00s indie electronic to me.

(xpost) Well...Professor Genius has a compilation cd out in a few weeks. Maybe you should email him about it! *hint*

aya aye capitaine...
...might just see what he's got on that then otherwise if theres a few more can be added to the list of myspace or whatever then hit em up for trax, line em up in acid, a bit of beat matching, cross fading some photochoppery and voila...
...the nu nu romance, an unrequited 80's love affair
and yeah 'blush response' actually play out as a band as well. Yet to be fair, homage indie noughties electronic acts are cool as long as the tunes stand up
I mean theres more than hint of nostalgia worth remembering for the 80's in those other acts(if anyone cares to remember)...
...it's not like they're sigue sigue sputnik trying to relive glory days ewwwwwwwwww hahaha
