a question about morrissey and his musics

i know that this will sound completely silly, at first. but, give it a little thought.

save the snarky comments and failed excelsior attempts for the jock jams thread or something, shitfucks.

alright. why hasn't morrissey ever gone all out glam? i mean, at least during his solo career. i know that there are touches of it all throughout his discography, and 'ringleaders' comes pretty close to it, even (in my opinion. i know this is arguable). but. . . ? his attitude and persona would very obviously lend themselves to it. so, why doesn't he strap on some boots and stomp around? i mean, as long as he did it tastefully (and he would). i mean, ummm, he's morrissey, and he's my god, it's not that i'd want to change a thing about him. i wouldn't. the thought just popped into my mind, and i'm just curious why he hasn't taken a few more cues from bryan ferry or someone.
