I think 'Verschwende Deine Jugend' is their other big dance song. The Alles Ist Gut album has Mussolini and other similar hard gay stuff. Die Kleinen und die Bösen is earlier, brilliant but more postpunky, check out 'co co pino' and 'nacht arbeit'. I think my favourite DAF track is Kebabträume, which is kind of a midpoint.

everything up to and including fur immer ist wesentlich, but their best album is probably alles ist gut. check out some of the videos on youtube as well.

can anyone reccommend the first gabi delgado solo record? i saw it at a market today and didn't buy it, but now i see it was also produced by conny plank. doh.

so i picked up the gabi delgado record, mistress, and it is already sounding like a lost classic. track 2 starts off all gay porno disco, less muscular and fascist than daf, but then unexpectedly morphs into a scratchy african highlife/funk hybrid with rainbow arpeggiator and gabi just kind of purring about passion and vice! also drums by jaki liebezeit on almost every track! sick!!

New Peter Black record samples DAF's Coco Pina (they're not the first). That song's from before their full on drum machine period, but is one of those classic industrial synth riffs.

This thread made me google Hard Corps. I have their incredible Respirer/Dirty 12" on Survival kicking around somewhere. Seems there's bootleg called 'Metal and Flesh', but no official stuff. Shame, though they deserve to be cult. Stripped down synths and piercing vox, years ahead of the curve. Great, great stuff: "Nothing can bring me down any more!"

This all changed with the Fuck Up Evil/Evil Off albums when the leather came off and on came the aerobics sermons (and taking control of songwriting, adding new band members for all of the above etc.). It's too bad the fun with the twin 1993 albums lasted only that long as far as quality went.
