On a completely different note, my favorite new cocktail is what I like to call the Palindrome. It's equal parts Crown Royal and Royal Crown.

Goths like soy burgers a lot. And goths who eat meat? Yeah, taco bell. But taco bell is pretty much everybody food, if you're short on cash or it's after ten.

i have def seen goths eating burritos at 3 am though

in fact i know some teenage goth types that only eat burritos, nothing else. except maybe they are not real goths? i mean, they wear all black and makeup and combat boots but the clothes are fairly baggy and they usually have dyed red hair or something like that, a wallet chain and an anime t-shirt (black). maybe that's not a goth, maybe they're mutant juggalos or something.

But I wasn't talking about mexico, or mexican goth culture, or if goths eat mexican food.

i mean the food ITSELF.....the food itself seems very un-goth to me.

i can't really say why.

The least goth food has got to be a McDonald's hamburger, 'cause it's the most common, ordinary, unspecial food in the world. And it's meat.

OK, maybe not the world, but the goth-having parts.

Proposal for discussion: gelatin (especially in molded salads) is as ungoth as food gets:

1) It is (usually) derived from animals, yet doesn't provide the savage pleasures of eating meat.
2) It comes in perky and cheerful colors.
3) It is associated with midwestern-American middle-class white-bread cuisine.
4) Jello shots are favored by the sort of fratboys who, back in high school, delighted in giving wedgies to anyone they didn't like.
