It may be argued that "Born Slippy" is two different songs, but "officially" it is labelled as just two different mixes. The "nuxx" version has nothing left from the original other than part of the drums though.

How many songs has Annie Lennox written and/or sung where "Why" is the main word?
― Mark G, Friday, 19 October 2007 09:17 (eighteen years ago)
Dunno, but how many songs have Phil Collins written containing something about "waiting for so long" :)

Surprised no-one's mentioned "Freedom" George Michael yet.

OMD: 2 x "Joan of Arc" (successive singles from same album, even), although one was renamed "Maid of Orleans".

Mark Lanegan - "No One Knows" (w/ the Screaming Trees)
...followed 10 years later by QOTSA's viral hit "No One Knows," which Mark co-wrote with Josh Homme.

There is an early "The Kill" which has been recorded in 1977 and a later one which is on "Still". Different lyrics and music.

"All I Wanna Do" & "All I Want To Do" have different writers though. Denis wrote the later, while the former was written by Brian (w/Mike).

Really, there is just one "Joan Of Arc", the other one is called "Maid Of Orleans" (or "Joan Of Arc Part 2", which might as well be interpreted as it being the same song - particularly as it follows the other one on the "Architecture & Morality" album)
― Geir Hongro, Saturday, 20 October 2007 22:58 (eighteen years ago)
hmm - the band themselves have been more ambiguous about it than that. but yeh, the tracklisting on the back of A&M has "joan of arc" and then "maid of orleans", so i suppose you're right :)
wow, i never knew this!
