My little sister (8) has a boyfreind who is into what she calls 'rap.' She played me a bunch of stuff she taped off the radio - over the phone- and asked me to make CDs for her of it. I'd like to do it. Over the phone, it all sounds like gabba noise, but I was able to make out 50's "What Up Gangster," Fergie's "Londone Bridge," TI's "Bring 'Em Out," and Shakira / Wyclef's "Hips Don't Lie." There are a few others I cannot figure out - one has Fergie and Snoop on it but I don't think it's that one Too $hort song. Another one has a chorus that sounds like it just says "James...James...James - things (aren't the?) same." The last one is a dancehall sounding one that keeps repeating "Uh Oh!!!"
