How can anyone deny that this theme is CLASSIC.

Complete classic.
I don't know why, but I watched the v2.0 tv movie tonight and they completely murdered the original theme song in a Fred Durstian sense (not to mention about a million other things about the Knight Rider "legacy").

the v2.0 tv movie tonight
i thought this was gonna be a full on series?

It depends on ratings I guess.
I watched the whole thing because I'm feeling masochistic today, but I can't imagine the rest of America stayed after the first commercial break.

The bassline and synth motif (the stuff everybody samples): classic The rest is pretty cheesy and dull innit?

the guy that wrote this song also scored Beyond the Valley of the Dolls!

Classic of course, though I do like the Busta Rhymes version better.

Glen A Larson composed the theme. Not bad for an ex-member of the Four Preps.
Although I do prefer it mixed up with Panjabi MC and Jay-Z.

So apparently Kelly Rowland is in the UK top 10 with a Freemasons remix of "Work" with a Knight Rider theme sample? that's what, the 4th hip hop/R&B hit with a Knight Rider beat to date?

'work' is really good.

was a keyboard used in it

It is as well. It doesn't sample the KR theme, but I think a drum loop from the Punjabi MC tune might be in there.
