They're both fantastic tracks but I SLIGHTLY prefer I Feel Space for its stricter formal structure.

They're both very formal but I Feel Space is cleaner in terms of the elements dropping in/out every 16 bars, whereas Discopolis uses more fade ins and outs. And there are a few of those great downbeat hits on 4 in I Feel Space that announce new segments!

I'm not big on the Braxe mix but I think the Chris Lake one is pretty good - really just throwing a bigger engine into the original.

In the battle of impossibly anthemic house tunes this thread forgot about:

a) Dre; and

b) the following:

i) Armand Van Helden - Conscience (I will continue to mention this track gratuitously in unrelated threads until someone acknowledges me and/or it)

ii) Linus Loves - The Terrace (Stand Back)

iii) The Eternals - Wrath of Zeus

I think he might be comparing the two producers to groups like LCD Soundsystem or Digitalism.

LCD Soundsystem were supposed to have "masculinized" disco, and Digitalism have been quoted as saying some dance music is "too gay".

I don't get how someone as obsessed with disco as Lindstrom, and particularly Hi-NRG and Italo disco, possibly the gayest varieties gets compared to those two.
