A fantastic return to form and IMO his second best album, only behind "Imperial Bedroom".

There are several strong tracks here, but "London's Brilliant Parade" is in a league of its own. Particularly that last verse with all those details playing in the background. Mitchell Froom rules!

hard to choose, the opening tracks and closing tracks of this are so great (it dips in the middle significantly though).

Way too few votes, but I am stopping the Costello polls now anyway, as he may finally have jumped the shark sometime in the late 90s. "All This Useless Beauty" is great, but few people have heard it. "Painted From Memory" is more famous, but "God Give Me Strength" will probably receive all the votes anyway. So that's it for the Costello polls.
