Taking Sides: "Meet Virginia" vs. "Kryptonite"

Now, me personally, I like "Kryptonite" more. A harder edge to it, interesting lyrically. And wearing high heels when you exercise, I don't know, that sounds like a stupid idea.

"Kryptonite" all the way but I like "Me, My Baby and My Cadillac" better.

"Lettin' Go" is the best

Haven't played this for months. "U Got Me!!" is fucking massive.

I'll take "Meet Virginia." If you had put in "Drops of Jupiter" or " Calling All You Angels" (the chorus on that one makes me wince hard) though I'd have to argue for "Kryptonite". A lot of my friends in high school, me included, made fun of the 3 Doors Down singer for looking like he had somewhat mongol features. I can also punch these bands/singers for choosing the blandest names in the world. I like to wonder what kind of record exec signed these guys. Not because they're successful, because it's pretty obvious, but because somehow, somewhere this music made some A&R guy's ears perk up.

I was surprised to find a 3 Doors Down song that didn't make me want to jab dental instruments in my ears...it's that new song "Not My Time." It's really...not horrible, which might be one of the more surprising things to happen in 2008.

As for the TS, I know what you're up to and it's not going to work.
