I'm going to almost proudly admit that I have never until this very moment owned this album. This is one of those few albums from the early 80's that I always WANTED to buy and somehow never ended up doing so until many years later (also see Blue Nile's "A Walk Across The Rooftops", which I only finally discovered a few years ago). In fact, as I type, I haven't even heard this whole album yet, but of course I know "The Ghost In You" (great Robyn Hitchcock cover, too!) and "Heaven", which was really the song that made me think of this album again when some DJ played it at a club some weeks ago. "Here Come Cowboys" is a delightfully Dubya-ish song no?
But you folks have heard this whole album and I haven't yet. So you get to decide, and comment, if you so desire. I seem to recall the critics not quite giving this their full seal of approval at the time.
"Heartbeat" is playing now and I damn well remember this one at least, I do.
