Yet another thread I'm starting that's going straight to the bottom.
First album I bought of his was years ago: "Head" on vinyl, previously knowing him only via "Deux Filles." Didn't like it, never followed up.
Then, just recently, discovered that his "Remarkable" and "Songs of Love, Life, and Liquid" when cherry-picked, yield a pretty great Robyn Hitchcock/David Bowie/Kevin Ayers album. Before I send a boatload of cash off to England (hey, Julian Cope likes Fear of Flying) I'd love to know what's to be avoided or cherished.
I have all the Deux Filles, so I'm talking his solo stuff and other collabs.
