MARBLE INDEX by Nico is currently my favorite album. What other albums should I hear besides the rest of her discography?

Grouper - Way Their Crept / He Knows He Knows He Knows
Sally Smmit - Soundtrack to Hangahar
Ghédalia Tazartès - Une Éclipse Totale De Soleil

(the Mauve Sideshow & Sally Smmit are more on the home recorded atonal / queasy side of things, the Grouper is less afraid to be lovely, and Tazartès is just what he is)

Thanks

What about Scott Walker's last two albums, Tilt and The Drift?

They're astonishing. Listen to those, too.

Actually, I love the stuff Scott Walker produced&composed for Ute Lemper, you should definitely seek that.

Also, maybe Parallelograms by Linda Perhacs? I'd also suggest seeking the s/t album by Chimera (download link & review here). "Lady With The Bullets In Her Hair" could totally be a Nico song.

Thanks for all the recommendations.

I think I'll check out the GROUPER albums first.
