How to find a concertguide to rely on

I'm in the US for a couple of shows, in february of next year. I would love to see some nice shows myself, but I can't seem to find a good online concertguide. Most of them are full of banners advertising thing I don't want to see (for example: the Eagles, the Doors, etc.). Where can I find the good ones if i want to find out what's playing in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia or New York?

pay specific attention to anything Manny Theiner is writing about or promoting.
