The whistle in "We Know All About You" reminds me of the mom in Triplets of Belleville.

So has anyone heard this yet?
(loving that cover so much, reminds me of the last Roisin Murphy album)

Much as I love her, it's a really good thing the album has such a short running time. She's definitely locked in a zone and doesn't want to stray too far from it.
Anyway, it's leaked, but there's a message posted on her Myspace blog that says it got pushed back to the fall...so who knows.
― Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 15 July 2009 05:03 (sixteen years ago)
IT IS NOW "FALL". WHERE IS THIS ALBUM?!?!?!?
― Evren Kader (Masonic Boom), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 10:58 (sixteen years ago)
i bought it in japan a few days ago! dunno if it's out anywhere else.
it's great!

This has leaked. Way to completely bungle the release of a great record. And it really is terrific. "Don't piss on my leg and then tell me it's raining" is such a great line.

If this is gonna be another Electrik Red scenario where it's EASIER to get the leak than the actual album I'm gonna scream because I'm so sick of record company shit pissing on my favourite artists. :-(

You can buy this in Canada now. One listen and I'm hooked, but I already loved her just from the singles and especially from looking at pictures. A bit like Bow Wow Wow crossed with Basement Jaxx. Can't really go wrong.

It used to be on Amazon mp3 too, but now it's not. It's like they're forcing you to illegally download it.

omg it is! will maybe wait until when i wake up to give it a full appraisal
― Electric Universe (wherever that is) (acoleuthic), Sunday, 10 January 2010 04:29 (sixteen years ago)
ok it's pretty good, albeit not mindblowing. would see live.

I was disappointed with this album, much better live. I feel that they were so long in putting out a record that this is almost a second album, a lot of my favourite live tracks didn't make it to the album.

I somehow completely missed the last album. Listening to 'I See, I Say' now and it is FUCKING AWESOME.
― emil.y, Wednesday, 10 July 2013 13:04 (twelve years ago)
Okay, the next one is a bit more boring, but it's still pretty good for what it is.
