slightly more interesting/less horrific than the No 1s, not that it lacks horror of its own

Дyo! (The Reverend), Monday, 29 December 2008 11:42 (seventeen years ago)

there are some fantastic tracks here. i'm going for 'what's it gonna be?' but 'wearing my rolex', 'piece of me' and 'low' are all obv solid gold too. as is 'crank that' but it's kind of a quirk that it happened to peak at no 2 this year.

Anyone who votes for Nickelback should have to watch this advert on repeat...

snoball, Monday, 29 December 2008 11:45 (seventeen years ago)

H Two O is my clear winner here. Wiley and Buckley would be next, with Britney and Flo Rida jostling to complete the Top 5. "Black And Gold" sounded good for a while, but has been much diminished by over-exposure. "Live Your Life" is kind of OK, and "Use Somebody" isn't objectionable. "Pjanoo" passed me by, so I could be doing it a disservice.

Gave it to 'Low' but it could've been any one of half-a-dozen (Nickelback not included)

Ismael Klata, Monday, 29 December 2008 11:55 (seventeen years ago)

as for the worst...god, spoilt for choice. the actual worst is probably nickelback or the script or ughhhh "geraldine", but the most irksome was sam sparro.

lex pretend, Monday, 29 December 2008 11:57 (seventeen years ago)

Jeff Buckley, easily. Even if I usually refuse to vote for reissues in this kind of polls.

beware of shamwow imitators (The Brainwasher), Tuesday, 6 January 2009 00:16 (seventeen years ago)

well actually I would've voted for "piece of me" or "chasing pavements," but yeah "black and gold' is a great song why don't you like it?

beware of shamwow imitators (The Brainwasher), Tuesday, 6 January 2009 00:17 (seventeen years ago)

it's reheated rachel stevens 4 years too late, and i dislike his voice a lot - so thin and characterless. it's a bit "ben affleck does fischerspooner"

lex pretend, Tuesday, 6 January 2009 00:28 (seventeen years ago)

the two Pjanoo votes are both mine because i voted both at home and at work ha
