Eric Clapton & Babyface, "Change The World" - Classic or Dud?

The chorus to this keeps popping into my head lately. The way it sounds in memory is a lot prettier and more affecting than the actual song does once I pull it out, but I think there's a pretty solid song here. Can picture somebody else, don't know who, doing a much more convincing version of this, stripped of its softened-up and VERY of-its-time sound. The verses and all the guitar-pickin' need some help but damn, that's a great chorus.
