Ildjarn's Black Anger (Hate Meditation 1), this is a seriously disturbing ambient/drone track. With Darkthrone's Quintessence as honourable mention, for those bile-spewing vocals. And Impaled Nazarene's Hate...there's too much to choose from. I mean, entire genres are (partly) based upon the concept of 'hate' - industrial, metal, (hardcore/oi/anarcho) punk, grindcore, haterock, militant hip hop...

And then there's the distinction between songs about hatred towards others and self-hate (Would Nirvana I Hate Myself And I Want To Die qualify?).

And Kelis Caught Out There of course, hehehe...

I have to agree with Anthony and go with "Why'd ya do it"

As far as totally righteous hate goes, Crass's "How Does It Feel To Be the Mother of a Thousand Dead?"

Mr. Len feat. Jean Grae, "Taco Day". A rap about a female-perpetrated Columbine-style massacre with this sick-ass gothic pipe organ sample.

The big question:

What is more effective, a lovely, serene tune contrasted with hateful lyrics, or fullly integrated hate, with hatred permeating th attitude, music, vocal intonation, and lyrics?

"Flashback" by Ministry has to be up there...

"Fuck 'em all" by the geto boys.
