"Bodies" is indeed the track Matt is looking for, but the Pistols' finest hour remains "Pretty Vacant."

Naaah it's "Holidays in the Sun"

I always really liked "Did You No Wrong", but mostly because a local surfpunk band I used to love did a blinding version of the song.

It is a shame they never cut a better version with Chris Thomas, as the Sex Pistols version never was good as the cover, where I heard the song first.

"Holidays In The Sun" is the best; "Bodies" is the scariest.

Daniel_Rf, Saturday, 15 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

No! No! "Bodies" was by The Clash, I'm certain of it. The Pistols (RIP Glen Matlock) song you're looking for is "Eton Rifles".

Bossack, Saturday, 15 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

"Holidays In The Sun," just for the amazing last minute or so where Johnny's just screaming and ranting without stop, completely mad. Close second is "God Save the Queen" - the way he sings "WE MEAN IT MAN" just before the last chorus is like being punched in the gut.

Don't be misleading, Bossack, everyone knows that "Eton Rifles" was by the Buzzcocks. Are you trying to confuse us?
