well i haven't heard the album yet. but the single is certainly far too good a record to be damned with faint praise along the lines of "sounds like xtc" which people seem to have suggested - i'd put it down as the acceptable face of harmonic pop in 02. or something. mind you, if anyone reckons it's "too clean" - well, i might grant you that. might.
