I hadn't heard "The Voice of Harold" in about 10 years until a few days ago. "7 Chinese Brothers" never did anything for me - but I always liked VOH - I think because Stipe sounds like a Georgia hick instead of whining. Also, I think singing liner notes from a gospel record is the most "punk" thing REM ever did.
