Strange thing happened to me in a bar this past weekend...I was walking around while "I Wanna Be Adored" was blasting from the soundsystem and I glanced over at this pretty cute girl and right as the "You adore me" part came on she looked at me directly and mouthed the words to me. I smiled and kept walking, she then proceeded to call me over. It was possibly one of the greatest moments in my life because I adore that song.

We talked. I got her phone number and thats about it. It was a memorable evening for that simple glance and the mouthing of those words, it was sexy.

i have no idea what the name is but there's this super-cheezy irish "pub" on haight street that is (was actually) the closest establishment to my house that was showing the NHL playoffs (neighborhood satellite issues blah blah blah)...

anyway over the course of one hockey game i heard the James' song "Laid" over 5 times... what a horrible song. Sorry if you're a fan of it, but that nasally voice will greet you at the gates of hell.

I was in a pub the other day, where a guy kept loading coins into the jokebox. He must have put a good £3/£4 in there. Anyway, as soon as the music started, we realised what he'd done. He'd programmed the jokebox to play "White Ladder" by David Grey. In it's entirity. Twice.

To answer your Sonic Youth question...probably not. It was something about the way she moved her hips and lips to the Stone Roses, that got me. PLus she was fucking hot too. If she was bugging out to some Sonic Youth song, I probably wouldn't have made my way to her. Unless of course she was naked.
