Are there any records you keep in your bedroom, because you never listen to them anywhere else?

(This question assumes that you store most of your records somewhere other than the bedroom.)

Mine is Eno's Thursday Afternoon. That's the go-to record for sleepless nights, and I never listen to it any other time.

Ildjarn Landscapes. There's something about these soundscapes that puts me in a contemplative mood very suitable for late nights. More than, say, Biosphere, Klaus Schultze, Lull, Global Communication or Lustmord - it's very typical.

My Barry White records (you know what I'm talkin' about, heh heh)

Real answer: none ever go into the bedroom in the first place.

I always wondered why my ex-boyfriend kept Liz Phair's "Exile in Guyville" in the bedroom, and then I found out when I caught him furiously masturbating to the CD booklet photo of Liz, where she's clutching her breasts. I keep a Pogues CD in my bedroom for the same reason, to satisfy my fantasy of inviting Shane and the boys into my hot tub for my own Irish stew.

Enya records, as an "audio sedative" and insomnia cure. And this is coming from a fan.

Is that the reason he's an ex-boyfriend?

sounds like a keeper to me.

For the record, that's not actually Liz Phair in the booklet - it's a reasonable facsimile. You might want to tell your ex that.

Or not.

No no no lets talk more about Kate masturbating to Shane.

Actually I'd rather not

If you're visiting Kate, I'd wipe down that pennywhistle near her bed before you play it.

I never seem to listen to 'Oil on Canvas' by Japan anywhere else... :)

I can't listen to any records outside the bedroom. Can never listen to them outside the house because I can't give them my full attention.

I have never managed to take Ummagumma by Pink Floyd out of the bedroom.

Then again, I've never actually listened to it.
