The Shimmer Kids? Really? I don't think they have anywhere close to enough of a presence to even qualify. In fact, I find it hard to imagine anyone could even hear The Shimmer Kids without trying, and it seems hard for me to understand how a person could have such hatred for a band that required extra effort to hear.Inconsequential? Yes. The worst band of all time? Not even close.

Shit I didn't even see you at the show - uhm the song you are thinking of is called "Old Glory". That was our first time performing it onstage, hasn't been recorded, etc.

I feel really horrible about that show actually, I could not wait to get offstage.

interesting tidbits about Owen's toons that I was totally unaware of:

1) all of the songs/characters from the last album center around Lawrence, KS.
2) each song on the last album completes a trilogy with songs from the previous two records
3) his next album will contain no swear words
4) the songs he's working on now are being composed almost entirely for strings and piano, with the keyboards providing nothin but the beats.
