Bands YOU Wish EXISTED!!

So I was blown away by how absolutely cool the Freelance Hellraiser boot "A Stroke of Genius" sounds. I don't really like Cristina Aguilera and I find the Strokes pretty bleh, but for some reason the two in conjunction SOUND FUCKING FANTASTIC. I wish Aguilera was backed by the Strokes on all her rekkids.

So what boots, remixes, bootlegs, covers have made you WISH that there was a BAND that recorded full-length albums that sounded like THIS?

Just to get this on NEW ANSWERS: I heard the Satyricon (a Norwegian Black Metal band) do a COVAH of Turbonegro's "I Got Erection" which is just such a mean compact little metal track with this hysterical chorus (I guess part of the greatness is knowing what Satyricon usually sing about). I wish Satyricon had a side PROJECT that sounded like this.

ALEX, I KNOW you're EXCITED, but WHY all the CAPS? THIS reads like ONE of those ADS that tries to SELL you STUFF you DON'T NEED by using BIG LETTERS that make the PRODUCT look INTERESTING and IMPORTANT when it's usually NOT.

Hahaha I have NO idea why I have struck on doing this, but I rather like so :p

When I finally got around to hearing "A Stroke of Genius", after all the hype, I was a little underwhelmed. I was expecting a bold, unprecedented musical hybrid, but what I heard sounded not unlike the Bangles. Not that I have anything against the Bangles, but I was just expecting something a little more, well, unexpected.

Actually, everyone would be better off if Satyricon itself would continue like this. Apart from that crappy drumcomputer, this is the best thing they did in almost ten years! I mean, the band already gets zero respect in metal circles, why not be the ultimate sing-along metal/pop crossover?

I'm just waiting for the Poison/ Christina Milian colaboration.

I also wish that Dinosaur Jr had made a whole album in a "take a run at the sun" style.
