Oh well, I might as well get in on this one B4 it gets (too) old....

I have bought several LeD ZeP CDz in HMVz sale. I once thought that LZ were yer ultimate pick-a-track from each album sort ov band (like EG the Doorz) However I like them a bit more now. Pick one track per album, or OTO, whatever pleases you most.

My one track = "Carouselambra"

In Through the Out Door - "Carouselambra"
Leftover songs- "Hey Hey What Can I Do"

Joe, Saturday, 22 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

"The Ocean" all the way.

Douglas, Saturday, 22 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

You noodly tinkers. Knowing fuck-all about said band i will go for Kashmir because it's great.

Alex Linsdell, Saturday, 22 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

"In the Evening," featuring Satanic Riff-Nazi Jimmy Page's eerie intro, originally intended as the score to Kenneth Anger's "Lucifer Rising." (ooooh! trivia!)

Alex in NYC, Sunday, 23 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I - Communication Breakdown

II - that one that everyone hates with a sort of fake bluesman harp intro. I think it's the last track. Can't be arsed to look it up.

III - Immigrant Song

BBC Sessions (by far the best album) - Travellin' Riverside Blues

Dr. C, Sunday, 23 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

i will always vote "Carouselambra" as their studio as instrument apex so far (as they had intended to keep making albums) altough i always liked the start of "..evening" and it's interesting to know that that was the sound of music Page was to have contributed to LR

George Gosset, Sunday, 23 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

"white summer/black mountain side" - led zeppelin bbc session (well... actually just Page although Bonham hits the bass drum for a little bit and does a roll/crash during the finale)

gygax! (i forgot my blog password), Monday, 24 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

"THE IMMIGRANT SONG" IS THE ONLY CORRECT ANSWER!

Dan Perry, Monday, 24 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Well, Dan did grow up in Minnesota, so I guess he was from the land of ice and snow.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 24 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I'll be boring and say "Kashmir". However, it is truly a fool who denies the powers of "The Ocean". Except for the end.

dleone, Monday, 24 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Stairway to Heaven, you nutfucks.

Kashmir is also great of course, but don't you think I'm picking it.

John Dahlem, Monday, 24 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I grew up in Connecticut, we had cold and rain and ice storms and snow, I agree with Dan.
