Being Broke: C/D

I've been too broke (skint!) to actually *purchase* any significant amount of music for a couple of years now. I do a lot of downloading and burning from others, but my fiscal state has taken its toll on my music consumption. There's a lot of stuff I would have bought/heard in the last 2 yrs that I haven't. Yet when I had more disposable income, I'd soullessly buy up stuff in bunches and leave a lot of it hanging around in the wrapper etc. So, if you're broke, how do you keep up your intake, and if you're not, do you think your (relative) affluence detracts from your appreciation of music?

Yeah - just lie. Spend a couple of minutes reading magazine reviews in the newsagent and pretend you've heard it.

If you live in a decent sized city or have a good sized college in your town, get a library card. You might be suprised how much intersting music your local library system has to offer.
