It has Severed Heads and Eon on it = it is a must-buy.

It also has Earth Leakage Trip, Hyper-On Experience and PJ Harvey on it = it is a "HOLY SHIT! I'VE GOT TO HAVE THAT!"-buy.

Susan Cadogan - yeesss!!!

And is the Adventures of Robinson Crusoe theme the one which was used on the BBC childrens TV prog back in the early 70's. I NEED TO KNOW!! I can half recall this theme tune and it brings tears to my eyes just *thinking* about it. Childhood memories. Anyway R. CARMODY to thread!!

The rest of it isn't bad, except for worthless The Divine Comedy. Ugh.

One of Tull's least offensive tracks, Alang. I think the only other one I know is the John Barry tune: it's okay, nothing special.

Orbital have a singles compilation out at the moment too. It has one previously unavailable track on it, which is kind of Orbital-by- numbers except the vocals are more straightforward than usual (voice less-heavily treated, more lyrics).

oh dear, that is very drab. the severed heads track is good though (don't you think severed heads sound like a precursor to boards of canada?)

yuss. wasn't fussed by "Work" in the end. i just need to blag a copy of Satan, and then I have pretty much everything of theirs i would want.

Severed Heads are like a precursor to Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin and New Order, depending on which angle you're viewing them(him).

It's a great eclectic mix. The kind of thing "Back to Mine"s are for. Do they mix it together?

That Plaid track is mindfuckingly beautiful. And is Falguni Pathak some indian or south east asian thing? Sounds tempting.

On repeated listenings I thoroughly enjoyed the 3 Breezeblock mixes; many of these trax are included here. "Ska'd for life" is an instrumental version of an Alabama 3 remix played on the 2nd mix.
