7 Mary 3 was actually from Virginia. They were students at William & Mary, where I went to school. They rock!

Temple of the Dog was Soundgarden and Green River. They came together to make an album after the singer from Mother Love Bone died.

It's quite a good album if you like the whole seattle grunge thing.

Temple of the Dog is a terrific album. Not quite as grungy as you would think considering the members. Probably better than most Soundgarden and Pearl Jam albums.
