Inspired by this The Best Five Album Runs Ever and this "The Best Five Album Runs BEFORE TIME BEGAN" (Jazz poll voting thread VOTE HERE), I thought a slightly different approach would be interesting in that it’s easier to include artists who’s main work appeared on 78s and 45s from the 20s through 50s. I thought of making it really inclusive, but realized I already had a list of over 170 options (some artists have more than one run). So yeah, I know I’m missing a ton of blues and jazz artists. Sorry. Hopefully I managed to include most of the big contenders.
