What the hell is this song?

About a year ago, I heard something on Berkeley's KALX that has been haunting me ever since... it was some outlaw country song (possibly mock-country or rockabilly) that had this long-ass chorus about being a "truck-driving, dope-smoking, back-stabbing... [several more noun + verb + 'ing' phrases here] ... son of a gun." it was kind of funny and weird, but I never found out who it was. Does anyone know?

I would call, Gygax, but like I mentioned in my initial post, i heard the song nearly a year ago. Believe it or not, not every single DJ knows every single song. I know this-- I used to work there.

My handle used to be Cap'n Sludge, back in 1998 when I worked there. I was never a regular DJ, only a substitute and a 3:30-6am DJ. Fun, huh?!

Well, gygax, I checked out the link you posted, and though it's in the same vein, that's not the song. The rhythm in the song I'm talking about was more driving, and the chorus had about 10 more "noun + verb + 'ing'" phrases in it. But thanks for help anyway!

could be 'useless man' by minty (lee bowery's band who carried on without him after he died in about 95) it goes 'boot lickin, ball bustin, fist-fuckin, lip-smackin, thirst-quenchin, cool livin, ever giving useless man' in a manner not disimilar to the late 70's pepsi ad.

i saw them live in 1996 and lee's wife/widow was totally naked but for a see-theu mac with a hole cut between the legs.

when they performed in london he used to 'give birth' to her onstage. so

Um, almost kind of sorta maybe sounds a bit like it could've been Beck's "Truck Drving Neighbors Downstairs".
