weirdo artists: come in mah kitchen and share some of that UGLY ass pixelated dot matrix style ART with me. lots of old gay men will be sure to see your art work while they troll for young meat. Let's make Polk st. the NU-LAGUNA BEACH.

Ok, who is this again? I love Polk St, it's one of my favorite strips in the city. Even though it's getting more and more cleaned- up (where are all the husters?), it's still rockin'. I'm dumbfounded that the Hemlock, where I used to go a bunch of times when the first opened, is now jam-packed on the weekends. Jammed. It's good I guess, but sometimes I don't want a crowd of that size. What does your site have to do with Polk St, though?

He lives near there, frequent patron of the Hemlock, Kimo's...

The Hemlock has a really good jukebox, but it's never on on account of all the terrible bands that play there (Neil Hamburger excepted). I was there Monday and it was even crowded then.

do you like the hair police? are they pop? sure make me snap crackle and pop.

Hemlock does indeed have a good jukebox, but I guess they do have bands all the time now. I don't know if any of them are any good. I'm always up for a Polk St. meet-up, btw...
