So incredibly great live. Bummed to see such a sparse room for them tonight.

yeah that was a fucking drag, along with the power/sound issues. I was really worried after it cut out during Crank Heart that they would give up. did you go to the April show? it was nearly sold out, but it was their first show here in 5 years. I was so happy to see that they were coming back so soon, I guess people either got their fill or assumed it would be the same set. and it wasn't... besides the FORGET songs + a few others, it was totally different. those versions of Rose of Sharon & Tonite and Today were incredible. cool to see finally see I Luv the Valley, too.

Had a ticket for the last show but couldn't make it because I was really sick. Grateful they came back around so soon.
Did you see the kid losing his mind dancing? Holy shit, struggled in my decision to watch him or the band, it was ridiculous.

haha, I didn't. they draw a surprising amount of obnoxious bros to their shows... in April, there was this kid next to me drunk & on mushrooms just yelling at Jamie the whole time "YOOOO, OH MY *GOD* BRO!! AMAZING!!" in response to this like, whisper-quiet version of Fabulous Muscles. it was so weird... and again last night, there was this dude next to me pounding beers, ~vibing~, look like he got lost on the way to Fed Hill. didn't bother me, I was just perplexed...

Really regretting not grabbing one of those "TRUMP RAPES CHILDREN" stickers.

Ha, I didn't buy a sticker, but definitely sent a pic of it to a friend who couldn't make it.
Crowd was pretty interesting. Some bros and awkward nerdy types (which makes more sense).
I walked back to the bathroom after the show and glanced over in the green room or whatever and saw Jamie sitting down and staring at the floor looking dejected as fuck.
Later on I saw him struggling to get his gear in the van and asked him if I could help. "No, I just need to not be such a fucking DUMBASS."
He really is his songs.
