I can't manage to summon any Linkin Park hate these days - I still have no intention of ever listening to them, but hate seems a bit... strong. I mean, there are far more loathsome contemporaries, I'm sure they're agreeable people, and life seems too short. Is this what getting old feels like?

is there some reason this boring internet billionaire's totally unremarkable taste is being singled out for scorn? other than third tier VH1 fave Ingrid Michaelson pretty much all these artists are beloved by millions and millions of people, mostly corny white people sure but who cares really.

While I don't support making fun of someone else's music taste it seems this guy never really listens to music and he just checked the popularity stats for last.fm and just namedropped the top artists in there (well, maybe excluding 'the beatles'... he must've thought they were too popular already).
