Most surreal thread ever so far. Let's grab this by the horns and try to make some more sense:

1) When you say "somebody taking my mp3 (Soulseek)" I'm assuming you mean that whenever someone is downloading one of the MP3s on your computer. 2) When you say "my PC must be disconnected", what exactly do you mean? What happens? Does your PC lock up, stop working altogether? Do you mean you have to unplug it from the Internet by pulling the cable, or maybe just killing the Soulseek connection? More details required. 3) You say you're using cable, but are you using any other hardware, like a firewall or a broadband sharing hub?

I may not have any answers even after you clear these things up, but maybe someone will....just need to get some clarification before this goes anywhere, I think.

Mp3 is really annoying. A common disconnected is by using a utility, such as Desert Wolves. This lets you resume your download, so you don't have to start all over again.

Where is the right end of this stick?

So cold..so very cold. and sleepy. The Desert Wolves were really a brilliant little indie band.
