Anybody else heard this? expected it to just be the standard leftovers fare and to be sure none of this was his 'best' material from the time period, but some surprisingly good stuff on here. and interesting stuff too. ie, "Doggystyle" was intended as the centerpiece of teh album for the same name and wound up not making it at all (and it's easy to hear why, tho it's a pretty decent tune). "Eat a Dick" features the first verse of "Doggy Dogg World" over a beat that is almost identical to the "Serial Killa" beat.
kinda have to wonder if Doggfather woulda had a chance at being good if Death Row hadn't been such a clusterfuck at the time.
