I often return to this article just to read the comments

but the comments on lex's MBDTF reviews are also pretty good

Apparently, your opinion is in the distinct minority.

You have written a review without any respect for the audience in attendance, stating an obviously biased observation on their seemingly simplistic musical appreciation.
This is the most idiotic review I have read yet. Can this "critic" actually see and hear? Adam's show was one of, if not the best performances I've ever seen.
40 sold out shows and counting. International acclaim. Crazed fans who camp out overnight to get into the show first. I suggest you get your hearing tested, your vision checked and then go to another Adam concert.

You forget there will be video evidence to dispute your utterly absurd "review." Anyone who would like to hear the spectacular voice that stalked that stage tonight need only go on YouTube within the next several hours.
I don't usually suggest that critics be fired, but I think it might be warranted in this case.

I don't even have to open that article to know what the blog replies look like. No, don't make a real valid argument, just whine about haters. Yeah, that's really productive NOT! Good lord why do fanbrats care about the people who dislike their favorite artist so much? This is why I got away from pop fandom boards.

So sorry for your obvious hearing impairment.

I'll have to track down some examples, but the letters that appear in Cleveland SCENE after a bad review of a metal album or show are always good for a larf.
