A lot of these are great, but music sucks at the beach. There are no acoustics, so the sound almost instantly flits away into the air, and the music is playing either on a crummy boombox annoying everyone or on a crummy bar PA system annoying everyone. Plus a lot of house music is too technical or subtle to be enjoyed on a boombox, at least subtler than treble-heavy, hook-heavy, highly recognizable and therefore highly singable FM pop music, and anyway the bass content will be completely lost, which maybe isn't the point, but kind of key to dancing, sand or no sand. Sand is not a fun surface for dancing at all, now that I think of it.

Or is this music for later in the night after your nap, to be played at the shitty club on the beach? Or for the Miami Beach gay bar? Is it wishful thinking, like, "please, beach DJ, have betted taste in music"?

I really like the "stand back" cover and local garda's post. I didn't listen to them all. Maybe some of them sound super beachy.
