They're really good live this band. I've been to see them a few times and put them on myself. As well as the Arcade Fire, another influence they could do with toning down is Springsteen but they're still top notch. At the end of the gig your screamo guy was playing the organ while the singer was stood on top of it kicking it to pieces. Screamo guy looked even angrier than usual.

Their bassist is one of the coolest looking men I've ever laid eyes on.

"Army Ants" was the first I'd heard of them (video was new on youtube yesterday). I'm not opposed to their ambitiousness by any means, but the borrowing they do is bordering on cleptomania.

It's a relatively new development. Which is a shame. They used to be like the heavy metal Bad Seeds, which was more their own sound.
