Hearing this on Top 40 radio in the fall of '90 was a truly subversive moment yet not. Kate Pierson was already a welcome radio presence.

On a rainy afternoon in 2010 I noted that it was the 20th anniversary of this song. It hurt me real bad when I realized this, but...I missed it.
