I interviewed him a while back but he was fairly untalkative - anyone feel especially strongly about his 20-odd years of DJing/label/OBE shenanigans?

there was a good docu on him and NH carnival recently - expanded to include all the old sound systems in West London in the 80s...quite interesting as that stuff doesnt seem to go on anymore...if anyone knows of some wicked systems and parties happening between Ladbroke Grove, Ealing, West Ken and Kew Bridge let me know!

six months pass...
revived because journeys by dj have just (re?)issued a rare groove mix by Jay, suggesting it's his only "official" mix on CD. is it any cop? looks tempting from what little I recognise of the tracklist

Good Times 4 is now out! Dustygroove just got it in stock today, along with a disco comp compiled Dimitri From Paris and Joey Negro.

i’ve always liked how he mixes up reggae dancehall and house and even tribal techno without any demarcation between them. a great party dj in the best sense.
