Music with a heart

I'd really like to make a tape of pieces of music/songs with simulated heartbeats running through them. Can anyone help?

A couple to start with: Small Hours - John Martyn (he's showing up a bit lately) I'm not afraid of you - Carmel

I think the Cars' "Heartbeat City" has one on it...
And I think the opening track off of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" does too.

"I Think We're Alone Now" - pref. Lene Lovich version
Don Johnson's "Hearbeat"? I remember the song slightly, assume it's got a heartbeat somewhere in it

Beach Boys -- "Don't Talk, Put Your Head on My Shoulder"

Brian Wilson has always said the plucking bass line was supposed to mimic a heartbeat.

Grandaddy's Collective Dreamwish of Upperclass Elegance from "Under the Western Freeway" starts with a sublime simulation (or is it an actual recording?) of some kind of valve-disorder (so I learned from my former roommate, a med-student)

"The Girl With The Sun In Her Head" by Orbital does do this thing yes.

I could be dreaming it, but I think the underlying beats in much of Clinic's "Distortions" resembles a heartbeat. It would follow the mood and tone of the song.

Throbbing Gristle's album "Journey Through a Body" might include some songs with heart-beat sounds, but I can't remember.

Does Orbital's "The girl with the sun in her head" have a heartbeat rhythm? Long time since I heard it and I can't find it.

Tazz's WWE theme tune.

Cardiac Arrest by Madness. (Granted the heartbeat's not running through the song).

The whole of reggae, if you believe some people.

The Dragons, "Heart Transplantation", featuring the great lyric:

"I wanna tell you about a heart transplantation / It was Dr. Barnard who started first operation / The first man died, but he didn't stop / He saw a nurse and said, 'She's OK'"

It sounds like Steppenwolf vs. Boots Randolph, as performed by a German beat band.
