funky donnie fritt. actually, i don't think i know who he is. great song. every song kris wrote up to about 1974 was classic.

six years pass...

The spotlighting of this song in the Ken Burns doc lingers (just love Larry Gatlin quoting the lyrics). Have been playing "The Silver Tongued Devil & I" LP daily & can't get enough of it.
