just saw her perform last night in Sydney and thought it was awesome.
Banjo / keyboard and Powerbooks...

Highlights being
1. the casiotone style accompanied "Bad Music" - I've never seen something so simple rock so hard.

2. I'm free from hygenic responsibility - somehow "I'll never fallin Love Again" (Bacharach / David) comes to mind.

3.Tina Turner cover of - Private Dancer w/ mock sexy chair dancing included....

Aye, I saw her when she was touring with Restiform Bodies and Sole and she blew the boys out of the proverbial water. Then again, of all the Anticonners, Sole is the least palatable to my taste anyway. She also did "Private Dancer". It was certainly interesting watching the backpacker hip hop crowd watcher her, not quite knowing what to make of her. She was excellent.

New Kevin Blechdom album out this year!

Two years after the release of her debut album "Bitches Without Britches" the new Album "Eat My Heart Out" will be released in June. The Album features MOCKY, JAMIE LIDELL, LUCILE DESAMORY und LUMBEROB as guest producers and vocalists.

The 19 tracks are Kevin's autobiographical musical love stories. Additionally the CD contains a bonus 13 minute movie called "Countdown to Nothing" by Kevin Blechdom and Lucile Desamory.

"Eat My Heart Out" will be released on June, 6th on Chicks On Speed Records.
