not to enrage Whiney or to be clutter up people's SNA with music-nerd overkill, not even to endorse Scaruffi's take on rock history; I just thought this was a dope list of records, and it kind of made me want to 'reconsider' 1971 as a 'year',(I 'preferred' 1970) even though I haven't heard all of these albums.
Easy bet is probably Can or Zep, though I am voting for Amon Duul II. Feel free in this thread to chatter about the Hampton Grease Band or Tonto's Exploding Head Band to your heart's content
