Apparently a lot of people feel strongly about this mysterious out-of-print album, which kind-of-sort-of got renewed interest thanks to an Eddie Vedder cover. The Amazon reviews are strong testimonials. Is it any good?

I played a b-side acoustic version of "Hard Sun" a lot on my (mostly non-college-music) college radio show. Not on YouTube, but here's the original:

Interesting details on the guy:

Also heavy hitters:

Big Harvest took two months to record. It involved several high-profile artists including Hamiltonian Bill Dillon and David Rhodes (Peter Gabriel) on guitars. Larry Klein played bass. Brenda Russell, also of Hamilton, sang background vocals, as did Joni Mitchell.

i found this for 10 cents at a thrift store a few months ago. sort of new-agey, but evocative.
