Classic or classic?

Only slightly more engaging the other two CGI-rendered "video game motif" alt-rock videos I only vaguely recollect anyway.

This is the video my younger, Starcraft-obsessed self would have made. SO SHINY! Does the cdsingle have the video on it?

its not as good as Royksopp's 'Remind Me' CGI video in that its not as 'original' or well edited...

plus it looks like they ripped off FInal Fantsay with those glowing blue tentacles...perhaps this video was created by the same people who did the CGI for that film? i did hear something along the lines of someone in Linkin Park having a hand in making the video tho, not sure exactly how and what tho

Creed did a CGI video which was actaully terrible (to match the song) and i think this came out before LP which suggests LP only had their Gundam fantasy trip made cos they what Creed were up to...tho i could be wrong

:(

(blueski - yes, very Final Fantasy-ish (haha "inspired by" rather than "ripped off", tho. & saying LP did this as a Creed knockoff (nb I have not seen a Creed video except the one with the rowboat & supersized meat-arms) is, er, knocking the fact that a /lot/ of people grew up with CGI video games/movies &, if you had that much label money behind you to make a video, isn't this the sort of video you'd like to make?)

(& from the two LP videos I've seen, I think a case can be made for LP as symptomatic of 00s US youth with their eschatalogical transference/compensation/etc. haha the impact of save-game metaphysics on music!!!)

There's a CGI video for "Remind Me"?!

sundar subramanian (sundar), Sunday, 4 April 2004 04:21 (twenty-two years ago)

dunno if it's technically cgi - isometric infographics &c - but it's one of the most beautiful/depressing videos I've ever seen. watch it here.

I don't like the "Points of Authority" video.

Aja (aja), Sunday, 4 April 2004 14:33 (twenty-two years ago)

It's A Rip-Off of Halo and that Final Fantasy Movie

Dude (The Yellow Dart), Sunday, 4 April 2004 18:12 (twenty-two years ago)

I enjoy "In The End" and "Faint" way more.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Sunday, 4 April 2004 18:13 (twenty-two years ago)

"Crawling"

Aja (aja), Sunday, 4 April 2004 18:14 (twenty-two years ago)

i think both their music and their videos suck ass lint

Dude (The Yellow Dart), Sunday, 4 April 2004 18:16 (twenty-two years ago)

I like about two songs by them.

Aja (aja), Sunday, 4 April 2004 18:17 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah actually, this is probably my least fave LP video. You don't get to see Chester do that dance move that I like to call "The Chester." It involves swaying back and forth slowly, clutching your chest with one hand, point accusingly with the other, and screaming.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Sunday, 4 April 2004 18:17 (twenty-two years ago)

The video for "Numb" also had action painting and Mike Shinoda sitting at a grand piano in a cathedral.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Sunday, 4 April 2004 18:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Why is there always something "In His Skin"?

Dude (The Yellow Dart), Sunday, 4 April 2004 18:27 (twenty-two years ago)
